BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Organizers of this spring’s fun-packed 37th annual Indian River Festival have revealed to Space Coast Daily.com that prices have once again been reduced for this popular May-time event – in order to make it more affordable for Brevard families during these tough economic times.
In previous years at the Indian River Festival, there was always an admission charge of $5 PLUS a charge for an unlimited ride armband of up to $20 each – making it a total potential cost of $25 per person.
But for this year’s event from May 3- 6, everyone can enjoy the festival AND UNLIMITED RIDES for one low price of ONLY $10 or $12 per person, depending on what day they visit.
The Indian River Festival is a Brevard County celebration and tradition dating back to the 1970s. The festival grounds are located at Sandpoint Park, on a lovely 20-acre site along the beautiful Indian River Lagoon directly across from Kennedy Space Center.
The festival kicks off Thursday, May 3 with a Coca-Cola Grand Opening, offering free entertainment and free unlimited rides for only $10 admission.
Presented by the Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce, this event showcases all that is Titusville.
The Indian River Festival attracts people from all over Central Florida who enjoy family-oriented entertainment, cultural enrichment opportunities, recreation activities and a sense of community spirit.
The festival provides children and families many memories that will last a lifetime. Charitable organizations in this area also benefit from participation.
More than 25,000 people are expected to enjoy this year’s festival, which is North Brevard’s largest annual event of its kind. The demographics of the Indian River Festival feature a strong family attendance.
The schedule includes live musical entertainment performances, State Fair quality carnival games and rides, an open-air business showcase, arts and crafts artisans, ethnic foods, military displays and a Family Fun Zone.
