BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – In an exciting Juniors baseball division interleague game Wednesday March 21 at Veterans Park in Palm Bay, the Space Coast Little League Yankees edged the Palm Bay East Cardinals,7-6.
This is the second consecutive season that teams from Space Coast Little League from District 22 have competed in interleague matchups against District 2 opponents in both baseball and softball.
District 22 includes teams from Little Leagues in Mims, Titusville, Port St. John, Cocoa, Rockledge, Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach.
District 2 includes teams from Little Leagues in Palm Bay, West Melbourne, Eau Gallie, Satellite Beach, Melbourne Beach and Viera.
Regular season games continue through mid-May, with All-Stars games commencing around the end of June.
