Andrew Jonathan Swift Graduates From Huntingdon College

Proud parents, Andy and Dori Swift, of Cocoa, Florida, are pleased to announce their son, Andrew Jonathan Swift, Space Coast High School Class of 2008, graduates from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama, on May 5, 2012.

Andrew will receive his Bachelor of Arts, with High Honors, with a Major in Chemistry and a Minor in Mathematics.

Andrew attends Huntingdon College after graduating from Space Coast High School, where he was awarded two scholarships and played football.

He graduates having played four years of football for the Huntingdon Hawks and was selected as the Huntingdon College Male Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Andrew was also selected for the NCAA Capital One Academic All-District Team; inducted into the Alpha Beta Honor Society; and inducted into the latest edition of  Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Over the past two summers, Andrew was one of 24 college students across the country that was selected to attend the Department of Energy Nuclear Chemistry Summer School at Brookhaven National Laboratory in New York and was selected for an Applied Chemistry Internship with ASRC in the Space Life Sciences Lab at Kennedy Space Center.

Andrew has been accepted into the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) Radiochemistry Ph.D. program, where he will attend this coming fall.

Also proud of his accomplishments are his grandparents, Ed and Barbara Weber, of Mims, Florida, and Dave and Bobbi Hosley, of Titusville, Florida; his older sister, Lauren, a recent graduate from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, Tennessee; and his younger brother, Jacob, a sophomore at Averett University in Danville, Virginia.
