Vincent F. “Jim” Palermo Passes Away at 90

OBITUARY

VINCENT F. “JIM” PALERMO

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Vincent F. “Jim” Palermo, 90, beloved husband, father and “Pepa,” passed away peacefully Dec. 1, 2010 in Merritt Island Florida.

He will be missed by his wife of 64 years, Nadine; his daughter, Toni and husband Stan McDowell; son Jim and wife Kerry; son Doug; son Tom and wife Anna; and grandchildren Joe and wife Tammy; Michelle and husband Travis Parrott; Alicia; Sara; Anthony and Samantha.

A World War II veteran and native of St. Louis, Missouri, Jim and Nadine moved to Brevard County, Florida in 1988 to retire and enjoy the pride and pleasure of being near a loving family.

Jim had a host of friends in Missouri and many buddies in Florida. He was one of the original members of the “September Boys” who regularly played pool at McLarty Park in Rockledge, Florida.

Military services and interment were held on Dec. 6, 2010, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Health First Hospice in Brevard County, Florida.
