U.S. Veteran of Korea and Vietnam, Darrow O. Smith, 78, Passes Away

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Darrow O. Smith, 78, of Melbourne, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012.
Born in Elk Falls, Kansas, Darrow came to Brevard County in 1979 from Radcliff, Kentucky.
Retired SFC US Army and Veteran of Korea and Vietnam. Darrow was employed at Holmes Regional Medical Center.
He belonged to the American Legion Post 113 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
Darrow is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Lorene and Steve Aldrich; nephews and niece, Lance and Dresden Aldrich and Troy Aldrich; and great-niece, Kinsley.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012, at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
