As a fourth generation resident of Brevard County, a community based businessman and a senior member of the Florida House of Representatives, I know first-hand how important having a strong sheriff, a person committed to facing Brevard’s difficult challenges, is to this community,” he said.

“I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with a number of outstanding law enforcement leaders, one of whom is Wayne Ivey.

“Wayne has been instrumental in the design of several very important programs, such as GAMEOVER, which are keeping our communities safe,” Crisafulli said.

He said Ivey’s leadership makes him a great choice for sheriff.

“Wayne is a fiscal conservative who is very committed to the challenge of keeping Brevard safe.”

Crisafulli said Ivey has clearly demonstrated his expertise as both an advocate for crime victims as well as an innovative crusader.
