BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The Seniors from Merritt Island High School filled the Space Coast Convention Centre for an evening of warm friendship, dancing and celebration at their annual Prom Night.

The Oscars was the theme of this grand night out for more than 300 students, who attended in true style at the Holiday Inn Express in Cocoa – many arriving in luxury limousines that would have graced the set of any real Oscars occasion.

It was an evening when teachers turned out to chaperone their students – and when the school principal Gary Shiffrin himself was on the door to personally greet all his Senior Year and wish them well for the future.

Shiffrin even made a cameo appearance in the Merritt Island High School Prom fun video (above) – produced  by students in association with the school.

Event organiser was Michelle Hoolselma, Head of Special Needs and Senior Sponsor – who helped leading students arrange the voting for their fun Oscars.
