Palm Bay Details Water Quality For Annual Report

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The city of Palm Bay Utilities Department has released its 2012 Annual Water Quality Report detailing testing performed on the water system during 2011.
Utilities customers will receive a copy of the detailed report in their upcoming utility bill and the public may view the report online at pbud.org.
Public water systems are required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to mail a copy of the report to customers each year.
The report includes information about source water, treatment processes, water quality, sustainability efforts and outreach activities.
“This report shows the efforts made by our team to ensure that clean, safe, reliable drinking water is delivered to our customers each and every day,” said Dan Roberts, Palm Bay Utilities Director.
“Clean drinking water is vital to our quality of life, our local economy, and our health. Our water professionals are pleased to provide this service to the community.”

Copies of the report also will be available at local libraries, Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, Palm Bay Community Center and the Utilities Administration Office.
