Robber Hits West Melbourne Bank of America

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – At approximately 11:18 a.m. this morning, the Bank of America, located at 3003 West New Haven Ave. in West Melbourne was robbed by a white male.

The robber was wearing dark long pants and jacket (which appeared to be a suit), white dress shirt with no tie, white or tan ball cap with SF on the front, black shoes, dark glasses, fake beard and fake mustache.

The robber did not speak but handed a note to a teller stating he had a gun and he would shoot if money is not given to him.

Fled With the Cash

The teller complied and the robber fled westbound on foot with the cash. Police set up a perimeter and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office launched a STAR helicopter in an effort to locate the robber.

A K9 track was initiated by a Melbourne Police K9 unit. Thus far, the robber has not been located.
