Adele Louise Forsythe

BREVARD COUNTY • INDIALANTIC, FLORIDA — Adele Louise Forsythe, 98, of Indialantic, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 19, 2012 surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 27, 1913 in Ansonia, Connecticut to Louis and Maria Drozdewski.

Adele was a long time resident of Indialantic and was very involved in her church and taught Sunday school for many years.

She enjoyed gardening, the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. And more than anything, she loved telling people about Jesus.

Adele is survived by her son Roy L. Forsythe (Mary) of Edmond, Oklahoma; son John Forsythe (Opal) of Indialantic, Floria; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Forsythe; daughter Gail Skidmore and son Douglas Forsythe.

A visitation will be held at The First United Methodist Church, 110 East New Haven Avenue Melbourne, Florida  32901 on Friday, May 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park in Palm Bay.
