BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County District Five Commission Office is looking for a volunteer to fill an opening for the Brevard Historical Commission.

The Historical Commission collects, arranges, records and preserves numerous materials relating to the history of Brevard County and of the state.

There are no qualifications, but an interest in history, cultural lore and development of the county would be helpful.

The Historical Commission meets on the first Tuesday of every month and the term is for one year.

District 5 of the Brevard County zcommission is represented by Andy Anderson and encompasses Melbourne, Palm Bay, West Melbourne and Indialantic.
