Margarete Helen Miller Died Of Complications From A Long-Term Illness

OBITUARY

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE BEACH, FLORIDA — Margarete Helen Miller (Hoffman), 78, of Beachwoods, Melbourne Beach, died on June 2, 2012.

The cause of death was complications from a long-term illness.

Born November 24, 1933, she grew up in Islip, New York and worked as a supervisor for The Planning Board of Islip Town.

Margarete was a published poet and recipient of numerous writing awards.

She was best known for her candor, commitment to justice, wit, and indelible of sense of humor.

She was survived by her two daughters, Anne Lynn Niland, Laurie Lynn Niland, in addition to seven extraordinary grandchildren and four extraordinary works in progress great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, John Niland.

A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at Beach Funeral Home, Indian Harbor, Florida. 321-777-4640
