Clyde A. Millian, 85, Dies In Melbourne

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Clyde A. Millian, 85, of West Melbourne passed away on Wednesday June 27, 2012 in Melbourne. 
He was a retired Car Dealer moving here in 1957 from Rome, GA, a member of the Oceanside Community Church and a veteran of the US Army in the Korean War where he was awarded the Bronze Star.  He met his wife in Gadsden, AL while in the Army, he was 18 and she was 14.  They wrote to each other for 4 years and he proposed by letter.  They will have been married 63 years on July 8th.

He is survived by his wife Christine, a son Al (Brenda), daughter Cathy Millian-Clendenin (David), grandchildren Tenia Clendenin, Chad Worthington (Nisha), and Kristi Worthington Roy (Derek), and great grandsons CJ and Lucas.

Calling hours will be on Monday July 2nd from 5pm-7pm at the Brownlie – Maxwell Funeral Home.  Funeal services with Military Honors will be Tuesday July 3rd at 11am in the Oceanside Community Church in Satellite Beach.
