BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Joe Imondi has been selected as the new Director of Recreation at Indian River Colony Club.

Imondi comes from a successful tenure as Head Golf Professional at Suntree Country Club and has an educational background majoring in golf management.

He has served as the assistant golf professional at several courses including Wellington and Disney at Celebration.  Imondi’s experience in tournament operations, golf course management – and his people skills – all meld nicely to make him a perfect fit at Indian River Colony Club.

Shot-Maker’s Course

Imondi, who is a member of the PGA, is an experienced teacher and club fitting has become one of his specialties.

“People really don’t give themselves enough time to develop their skills,” said Imondi.  “With time and quality practice I believe a golfer will improve.  It’s simply a matter of staying with it and having some patience.”

Indian River Colony Club in Viera is a par 72, challenging 18 hole course that is nestled among natural preserves, lake front and golf course homes.

“It’s a shot-maker’s course as each hole was planned and designed for maximum scenic beauty and all are shaped around scenic lakes or ponds,” said Imondi.

  1. Great story and video. I know that Indian River Colony Club residents are so happy to have Joe on board! He is bringing our “retired” golfers back on the course.
