Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott said Voter Registration Applications received after today will be processed, but those voters will not be eligible to vote in the Aug. 14 primary election.

Voters also have until 5 p.m. today to make changes in their political party affiliation.

“In a Primary Election, voters will receive a ballot listing the candidates corresponding to the political party affiliation they have selected on their Voter Registration Application,” Scott said. “All voters can participate in Universal Primary Contests, which occur when all the candidates for an office are from the same political party affiliation.

“All voters can vote in nonpartisan races, such as for School Board and judicial races,” she said.

The General Election will be held Nov. 6 and is open to all registered voters regardless of their political party affiliation.
