Pierce Appears Again On ‘Friday Night Locker Room’

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Space Coast Daily Managing Editor Ed Pierce will be a guest tonight on the Friday Night Locker Room radio program.

The broadcast will originate at 7 p.m. from the Beef O’Brady’s at 3030 Lake Washington Road in Melbourne.

Friday Night Locker Room is a local radio broadcast team covering high school sports.

Jerry Durney, Mark May, Steve Wilson and Rick May will join Pierce on radio stations 89.3FM/90.3FM and AM1300 and live on the web at www.gofnlr.com.

Pierce has covered prep and youth sports in Brevard County since 1995.

He played high school football at Rush-Henrietta High School in Henrietta, N.Y. for New York Section V Hall of Fame coach Paul McKee and later went on to obtain a degree in journalism from the University of New Mexico.

His experience includes coverage of the University of New Mexico football and basketball teams and he has reported on Little League and youth football in Brevard County for almost two decades.

Tonight’s Friday Night Locker Room radio program will focus on the upcoming prep football season. It will include interviews and analysis of high school teams and coaches from the south area of Brevard County.

The prep football season opens with a number of Kickoff Classic games Aug. 24, with most area teams starting the regular season Aug. 31.
