BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – World-famous guitar player Jack Starr will be performing at Bunky’s Monkey Bar in Indialantic tonight with a special discovery.
Starr will take the stage at 10 p.m. Wednesday with his newest discovery, the space princess Galxina, doing their brand of music which can only be described as intergalactic rock.
Is there life on Mars? That is the question may be answered soon when our American-built rover discovers Galxina’s old outdated spaceship, called “Hypnotized One.”
“I’m really excited about this. It’s something fresh and there’s a component of electronic in there,” Starr said. “People who have heard the music say they really like it.”
The show is produced by Space Jamz and Starr said the Galxina band will perform a five-song set.
“We’re gearing up to do more live local shows in preparation for recording an album,” he said.
Starr learned to play guitar by ear and is known for his heavy metal and blues bands.
He burst on the rock and metal scene in 1981, helping form an act called Virgin Steele. He has since gone on to front a number of other metal and blues bands.
Bunky’s Monkey Bar is at 2364 N. Highway A1A in Indialantic.
