Viera Hawks Set To Take Flight In Prep Volleyball

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – If there is a prep volleyball team in Brevard County to keep an eye on this year, that squad may just be the Viera Hawks.
Under the leadership of Coach Sarah Sykes, Viera went 20-6 a year ago and earned the school’s first-ever district volleyball title.
This season, Sykes returns a veteran and experienced team eager to take the next step at making a deeper run into the postseason.
We caught up with Sykes and several of her players at the Brevard County Prep Volleyball Media Day at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy and asked them what they are expecting to accomplish this year.
