Design And Decorate Halloween Event

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The countdown is on for one of the scariest events ever on the Space Coast.

Brevard County Parks and Recreation is seeking volunteers to help design and decorate for two Halloween events featuring the Headless Horseman and the Haunted Stables on Friday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Oct. 27.

The events will be held in the Equestrian Area at Wickham Park, 2500 Parkway Drive in Melbourne.

Volunteers are needed to help design and decorate the stables and also will be needed during the event to dress up and assist in scaring patrons.

Volunteer hours will count toward school and club requirements. This event is targeted at older children, teens and adults and interested volunteers should fall into this target audience.

Wickham Park will accept donations of new or used Halloween decorations including yard decorations, costumes, dark or sheer curtains, strobe lights, and haunted music. Donations may be dropped off at the main office inside the park.
