The Space Coast Jazz Orchestra will present “By Special Request” at 7 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Indialantic.

An affiliate of the Space Coast Symphony, the critically acclaimed jazz orchestra will perform a playlist of audience favorites compiled from online and written surveys.

The concert brings audience engagement to a new level with featured music from Basie, Ellington, Miller, Dorsey, Monk, Rich, Davis, Kenton, Parker and more.

Artistic Director Aaron T. Collins believes the all-request concert is a perfect start for the orchestra’s jazz series.

“First, we assembled a great group of jazz musicians who love to play,” said Collins. “Then, we asked our audiences exactly what they wanted to hear.  This concert is the result — it really is by special request.”

Advance tickets are priced at $20 and available through the orchestra website at www.SpaceCoastSymphony.org or at several convenient ticket outlets, including Ace Hardware stores in Indialantic, Cocoa Beach and Satellite Beach, Blue Sky Insurance in Cocoa Village, Tropical Realty of Suntree, Art Expressions in downtown Eau Gallie, A Floral Affair in Merritt Island and Palm Bay Hearing Aid Center.

Tickets also will be sold at the door for $25. The concert is free for those under the age of 18.

St. Mark’s United Methodist Church is at 2030 North Highway A1A in Indialantic.
