Orchestra Offers Cocoa Beach Concert Sunday

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – The very popular Dr. Vernon Boushell Concert Series is planned in Cocoa Beach with “A World Tour With Band Classics” by the 55-piece Central Florida Winds Orchestra.
The concert series begins at 3:30 p.m. Sunday and is hosted by Riverside Presbyterian Church at 3400 North Atlantic Avenue (Highway A1A) in Cocoa Beach.
The featured soloist for the program is Sherry Boushell MacLean, daughter of Dr. Vernon Boushell, for whom the concert series is named.
MacLean will sing the soul-stirring Aspen Jubilee, by Ron Nelson.
The audience will “visit” many musical ports-o-call during the concert, including Paris, Mexico City, Hammersmith, England and the land of Armenia.
