BCC Falls To College Of Central Florida

Next Two Games In Gainesville

OCALA, FLORIDA – The Brevard Community College women’s basketball team saw its record drop to 2-4 with a 68-59 defeat at the College of Central Florida in Ocala on Tuesday night.

Sophomore co-captain Shaneece Stephens led BCC with 17 points.

BCC freshman Nia Frederick added nine points and collected 11 rebounds.

Sophomore co-captain Kasie Berry of the Titans added eight rebounds and six points and sophomore Shante Stevenson had seven rebounds and six points.

BCC had defeated the College of Central Florida 62-61 on Nov. 17 in Ocala in its final game before the Thanksgiving break.

Next up for BCC are two games at the JUCO Shootout at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville.

BCC plays Tallahassee Community College Gainesville at 4 p.m. on Friday and Santa Fe at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
