The event begins at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 on BCC’s Cocoa campus in the George F. Schlatter Veterans Memorial Amphitheater.

The event is free to the public.

This very moving, patriotic event honors those who gave their lives in service to our country, as well as to pays tribute to those who currently serve in the U.S. Armed Forces.

This year’s featured service is the U.S. Coast Guard.

The BCC Wall of Honor, located at the entrance of the amphitheater displays the names of more than 100 of Brevard County’s military casualties from World War I to Afghanistan.

Sadly, three names were added to The Wall this year in honor of our local fallen, including: U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 Brian D. Hornsby of Melbourne, 37; U.S. Army Spc. Justin L. Horsley of Palm Bay, 21; and Marine Gunnery Sgt. Jonathan W. Gifford of Palm Bay, 34.
