Recognizing Outstanding Individuals & Organizations Who Dedicate Their Time, Talent and Treasure To Help Those In Need

CENTRAL FLORIDA, USA – The 2012 Central Florida Humanitarian Awards was held Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Hilton Melbourne Rialto Place. The Central Florida Humanitarian Awards were created to recognize outstanding individuals and organizations that dedicate their Time, Talent or Treasure to help people in need locally – and around the world.

Since the inception of Space Coast Medicine & Active Living magazine we have been intent on telling the stories of people who are passionate about their avocation and the humanitarians that we have discovered so far that are equally as passionate.

To properly honor and recognize these outstanding individuals and groups, Space Coast Medicine & Active Living magazine’s parent company, Maverick Multimedia, Inc., presented the Central Florida Humanitarian Recognition Awards Gala to a sold-out crowd of more than 500 people at the Hilton Melbourne Rialto Place Ballroom in Melbourne, Florida.

  1. Thank you, thank you, thank you! To Tom, Jim, Giles and everyone at Space Coast Daily & Brevard Physician’s Network. What a fabulous event.

On behalf of Harmony Farms and all the volunteers, riders, parents, and of course, the horses, we appreciate this recognition of our labor of love. This event brings forth all the great work that is being done by so many people in Brevard County, which in turn will further help those organizations. We were in very good company with some pretty special people.

Keep up the good work and thank you again for all that you do for our community! We had a ball.
