The first concert, “Coconut Champagne: Jazz with a Latin Twist,” will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.

The second, a holiday-themed concert called “Do You Hear What I Hear? Jazz for a Winter’s Night,” will be at 7 p.m.  Dec. 5.

Both concerts are free and open to the public.

“Coconut Champagne: Jazz with a Latin Twist” features the Florida Tech Panther Jazz Big Band teaming up with the Florida Tech Latin Percussion Ensemble in a vibrant, fast-paced concert of big band jazz and fun Latin favorites.

“Do You Hear What I Hear? Jazz for a Winter’s Night” will be performed by the Jazz Syndicate, which is Florida Tech’s advanced jazz improvisation ensemble.

The group is directed by Capt. Winston Scott, Florida Tech senior vice president for external relations and economic development.

“The concert features sizzling jazz combo selections that are just right for a cold winter’s eve,” said Jamie Younkin, director of Florida Tech’s music program.
