Upcoming Financial Classes Focus On Managing Money

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Agriculture and Extension Service and the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences will offer a number of financial classes for local residents during the month of December.

Classes will be held at the UF/Palm Bay Extension office at 1455 Treeland Blvd. in Palm Bay.

Here’s a rundown of the classes coming up:

Become Captain of Your Financial Ship: Financial management program, meets bankruptcy debtor education requirements. Classes will be held at the Palm Bay Extension Office from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 5. The cost is $20.

Foreclosure Prevention: For families facing foreclosure. Learn to prepare a budget, foreclosure options, and about the foreclosure process. This is required for one-on-one counseling. Classes held at the Palm Bay Extension Office from 6 to 8 p.m.  Dec. 3. The cost is $10.

• Buying & Selling on Internet Venues: Learn the basics of setting up an account to purchase or sell items via Ebay and Amazon & look at other internet buying/selling options. Classes will be held at the Palm Bay Extension Office from 3 to 5 p.m.  Dec. 4. The cost is $10.
