BCC Titans Post Sixth Straight Men’s Basketball Victory

Squad Improves Record To 8-2

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA – The Brevard Community College men’s basketball team improved to 8-2 on the season with its sixth victory in a row on Saturday, dispatching host Florida State College Jacksonville 74-59.

Sophomore tri-captain Nyles Evans led the way for BCC with 22 points. Classmate and fellow tri-captain Addison Spruill added 19 points and classmate and fellow tri-captain Gary Gaskins had eight points and seven rebounds.

Freshman Aldor Kola chipped in with 10 points and nine rebounds.

“I was worried about a letdown after such a big win against Polk State,” BCC head coach Jeremy Shulman said. “But our guys really came out ready to go against an energetic, tough, physical opponent. I’m very proud of our guys.”

Next up for BCC is a 7 p.m. game on Wednesday against the Webber International junior varsity at the Melbourne Campus gym.
