BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Brevard County Parks and Recreation’s “Big Kid Adventures,” monthly field trips for adults, is offering trips Monday and Wednesday this week that includes a visit to St. Augustine’s annual Night of Lights Festival.

The annual Nights of Lights celebration in St. Augustine can be traced back to the Spanish tradition of displaying a lighted white candle during the Christmas season. (Image courtesy of St. Augustine Nights of Lights Festival)
