A resident of Brevard County for 23 years, Woolsey will replace Mary Lackovich, who is retiring after 22 years with the county. Her background includes over 15 years serving local not-for-profit/service organizations, including United Way of Brevard, AMI Kids Space Coast and Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. Woolsey currently serves as the co-chair of the communications committee for Greater Titusville Renaissance, a North Brevard volunteer movement focused on revitalization and initiated by Commissioner Robin Fisher with Titusville Mayor Jim Tulley.

“My career in non-profit has allowed me to witness first hand both the needs in our community as well as the inspiring process of finding solutions. It’s exciting to take on a role that is dedicated to that process,” Woolsey said. “I’m honored to have been appointed by Commissioner Fisher and I look forward to serving our community in this capacity.”

Among Woolsey’s duties will be assisting the Commissioner in directing and coordinating a variety of administrative activities including managing agendas, coordinating special projects, maintaining citizen board appointments and interacting with the community.
