Junior Achievement Offering New BCC Scholarship

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Junior Achievement of the Space Coast in coordination with the Brevard Community College Foundation is offering a one year, full-tuition scholarship to be awarded to a graduating resident of Brevard County who participated in a Junior Achievement program.
This scholarship has an estimated value of $6,120.
The scholarship recipient will attend Brevard Community College classes in the Fall 2013 semester.
The award will be valid for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 semesters for a maximum of one academic year or 30 credit hours, whichever comes first.
To qualify for the scholarship, a minimum GPA of 2.5 is required, as is a teacher statement which confirms the applicant’s participation in a Junior Achievement program.
Each applicant must first be accepted to Brevard Community College and obtain a student ID. The application may then be completed and submitted through the BCC Foundation’s online scholarship system.

The scholarship award will be presented to the winning applicant at Junior Achievement of the Space Coast’s premier, black tie gala, the 2013 JASC Business Hall of Fame, to be held at the Hilton Rialto in Melbourne on March 9, 2013.
