Lindheim Posts First 2013 Victory

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Nick Lindheim of Satellite Beach, Florida opened with a 9 under par 63 on the 7062 yard P.B. Dye layout during the Florida Professional Golf Tour as it returned to action this week for the first event of 2013 season at Black Bear Golf Club in Eustis, Florida.

Lindheim had a Bogey free round recording 7 birdies and an Eagle. He fired a closing round of 66 to finish the event at 15 under par winning by 9 shots. Tommy Schaff, Ty Tryon, Jeff Corr, and Jhared Hack finished tied for second at 6 under par.

Lindheim plays out of Duran Golf Club where he has been employed for the past several years.  “Working at the course gives me the opportunity to practice on my off time,” he said.

Lindheim will play in a Hooters Tour event this coming week at Grand Cypress in Orlando.  Coming off a 9 stroke victory Lindheim says he is excited getting off to such a great start this year.
