New Program Offers Social Skills Lessons In Mims

BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA – A  true gentleman is true to himself, is of moral strength and is thoughtful of others.

That’s a topic often overlooked when raising children, but one what will be addressed in a free program coming to the Mims area.

Sponsored by the Brevard Parks andRecreatiom department, the new “Gentlemen in Training” program will be held at the Cuyler Community Center starting later this month.

Designed for at-risk boys ages 7 to 15, classes will be offered from 6 to 7 p.m.  on Mondays and Wednesdays starting Jan. 23.

The intent of the program is to help children develop new attitudes, behavior and social skills.

The Cuyler Community Center is at 2329 Harry T. Moore Avenue in Mims.
