Henry Rutkowski, 86, Dies Feb. 6

OBITUARY

INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, FLORIDA – Henry Rutkowski, 86, passed away peacefully with family February 6, 2013.

Born on January 17, 1927, in Buffalo NY, he joined the Navy at age 17 to support the country during WWII. Upon discharge Henry earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. A career ensued that brought him to many cities in the U.S., one being Clearwater, Florida where he met his wife of 50 years.

He was a thoughtful and loving husband and father and a stranger to no one. He enjoyed golf, bowling, tennis, animals and was a very talented artist who published some cartoons in the Hometown News.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn, his three daughters, Kim, Amy and Beth, and three grandchildren, Josephine, Emma and Keira.

Viewing hours will be from 10 – 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12th at Beach Funeral Home, 1689 S Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, with a funeral service to begin at 11 a.m. Burial will immediately follow services at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at 3 p.m.
