Produced by Bluewater Creative Group, publisher of Senior Life newspaper, the third annual event was rich with nostalgia featuring dozens of vendors dressed in 1950’s vintage attire, guest speakers and a 1950’s car show.

“We have more vendors than ever this year, and we added live music from the Dukes of Doo-Wop,” said Jill Gaines, publisher and director of Bluewater Creative Group.

The 1950’s car show featured a 1957 Ford Thunderbird, a 1958 Porsche Speedster and a 1949 Plymouth “Woodie.”  Door prizes were awarded every hour throughout the event, and complimentary root beer floats were abundant.

Guest speakers included Dr. Stanley Golovac of Florida Pain who presented a seminar on alternatives for chronic pain relief, with a follow up Q&A session. David Slomin of the Slomin Law Firm made a presentation, “Life Transitions after 55 – Hey Boomers What’s Changing?”

The event included a presentation of the colors by Florida Air Academy Color Guard.
