OBITUARY

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Joseph Jerry Marcinek of Satellite Beach, Florida died Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Holmes Regional Medical Center.

Joe was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on Nov. 29, 1934 to Anna and Joseph Marcinek. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1972 and went on to retire from civil service in 1992. Also during this time he opened Beachside Advertising and was a gifted artist who worked locally as well as nationally.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother Anna, his father Joseph, his daughter Donna and his brother John. He is survived by his wife Sylvia; sons Steven and wife Chris; Mark and wife Carol; daughter Brenda and husband Jeff and son Mark. Brother Frank and wife Eileen and their children Jamie and husband Kevin; Nicole and husband Mike and Elizabeth and her family. His sister Mary and daughters Cindy and husband Bruce; and Caren and husband Roy.

Joe will be buried at a private service with family. His family would like to acknowledge and thank his team of doctors, most notably Dr. James Zavitsanos and Dr. David Shapiro for their kindness, compassion and remarkable quality of care.

    I didn’t know my grandfather well, and I met him once . I just wanted to give my condolences to his family -Joseph Marcinek
