BCC Sweeps Softball Doubleheader From Lincoln

Titans Now 15-18 On Year

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Brevard Community College’s softball moved closer to .500 on Tuesday with a dominating doubleheader sweep of Lincoln College of Illinois on the Palm Bay Campus.

BCC won 9-4 and 19-2, with the second game lasting five innings, to improve to 15-18 on the season.

Ed Yanes is in his eighth season as head softball of the Titans and is assisted by Bob Yanczekski, Lauren Ziegler and Kim Overby.

Next up for BCC is a doubleheader on Friday at Chain of Lakes Park in Titusville.

BCC plays Bloomfield University at 10 a.m. and Carlow University at noon.

The team returns to the BCC Palm Bay campus on Sunday to host Miami Dade at 1 p.m.
