Brevard Fans Flock To Annual MEGACON Event

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Brevard Hundreds of Brevard County fans of science fiction, comics and other pop culture devotees flocked to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando last weekend for the annual MegaCon Convention.
Visitors were able to attend panel discussions featuring celebrity guests, including the cast of television’s Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Actors Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean-Luc Picard), Wil Wheaton (Ensign Wesley Crusher) and Marina Sirtis (Counselor Deanna Troi) met fans and signed autographs at the event.
They also had a chance to meet some of the voices behind such popular cartoons as Futurama and the artists who draw comic books as Batman, Iron Man, Green Lantern and the Fantastic Four.
The convention also gave participants the chance to dress up as their favorite entertainment characters and colorful creatures.
