BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Firefighters extinguished a blaze that destroyed a shed in Melbourne on Wednesday afternoon.
The Melbourne Fire Department received a call about a small shed burning near an abandoned residence on Julia Drive about 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday. By the time crews arrived at the scene, the fire had destroyed the shed.
Fire crews put out what remained of the fire and stayed to ensure no nearby became involved. As a result, no other fire damage was reported.
