‘Passport To Beer & Cheer’ Fundraiser Arrives Today

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The Junior League of Central & North Brevard will conduct its 3rd annual Passport to Beer & Cheer fundraiser to raise money for literacy and youth aging out of foster care initiatives today.

The event will be held Saturday, March 2 at the Veranda at the Space Coast Realtor Association, 105 McLeod Street in Merritt Island, and is sponsored by Crispy’s Beer & Wine Bar in Rockledge (www.crispysbar.com).

The Junior League of Central & North Brevard has partnered with Crispy’ s Beer and Wine Bar in Rockledge to provide the craft beer selections.

“We are thrilled to partner with Crispy’s Beer & Wine Bar this year for our event. Crispy’s are experts on craft beers and the foods that go with them,” fundraiser chair Dawn Stuckey said. “Even better, they care about the community and were eager to support the Junior League of Central & North Brevard and our initiatives.”

The Passport to Beer & Cheer will feature tasty craft beers paired with delicious food, live music, casino-style gambling, raffles and a silent auction.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Junior League of Central & North Brevard’s community outreach and projects that target the health and overall wellness of Brevard’s children & youth.

The Junior League of Central & North Brevard is supporting both literacy and youth aging out of foster care initiatives.

The organization of women is committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
