Play Day Arrives Saturday In Palm Bay

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – A Play Day has been scheduled on Saturday to herald the arrival of spring in Palm Bay parks along with participating businesses.

Palm Bay Public Information Officer Yvonne Martinez said Paml Bay’s Parks and Recreation Department has created an exciting menu of activities for kids and families to enjoy on Saturday, March 23.

Activities are scheduled at Fred Lee, Liberty, West Oaks, Arc and Veterans parks.

Play Capture the Flag or join in the bunny hop sack race or design a bunny mask.

Check out the Technology Treasure Hunt at Arc Park or learn about geocaching at Turkey Creek Sanctuary.

Stop by the arts & crafts tent and there will be demonstrations for Zumba, Jazzercise and Karate.

And there are plans for fun and games all day long.

“We’re very excited about our Play Day event this year,” says Shawnta Price, Palm Bay Recreation Supervisor, “We expect a great turn out with lots of kids and families participating in the games and activities throughout the city.”

There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.
