Public Meeting Focuses On Palm Bay Road Work

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Public Works staff from Palm Bay will conduct a public information meeting for residents interested in discussing upcoming work planned for Lowry Boulevard and Sarasota Lane  in a portion of a southeast section of the city.

The meeting will be held starting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 18 at the Palm Bay Utilities Department at 250 Osmosis Drive in Palm Bay.

The project involves a reconstruction of the roads in the designated area.

The contractor will install a new and improved road base and a new asphalt surface.

Other improvements include removal and replacement of the pipe culvert for Canal-39 that crosses Lowry Boulevard S.E.

The project is funded through the city’s Road Maintenance Program which was approved by the city council.

Work is scheduled to begin on March 25 and is projected to take about four months to complete.
