BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – “Safari Under the Stars,” the Brevard Zoo’s most anticipated annual fundraising gala, was a grand event that attracted more than 300 people.

The gala was held in a magical zoo setting punctuated by a beautiful night sky filled with animal constellations. With ndtArtemis as the Title Sponsor, and Holiday Builders and Green Turtle Market as Presenting Sponsors, guests experiencd an evening of awe, excitement and fun at this event.

As a non-profit organization, Brevard Zoo relies heavily on its donors to enable its mission of Wildlife Conservation through Education and Participation.

“We had an extraordinary event with a number of new elements and surprises that made this year’s Safari Under the Stars an unforgettable evening,” said Karen Davis, Development Director at Brevard Zoo.

“We added an exclusive VIP Reception with delectable delicacies, libations, signature entertainment, exclusive auction and other surprises reserved for sponsors electing to add that element to their evening.”

All guests attending Safari Under the Stars enjoyed fabulous hors d’oeuvres, full bars and a seated dinner, followed by dessert, specialty coffees and dancing at Safari after Dark. Channel 6 News Anchor Lauren Rowe was the Master of Ceremonies and there was a great auction and raffle opportunities.

Specially planned for the event was the naming opportunities for the Zoo’s newest members—a jaguar cub and two Masai giraffe.  The Zoo also had one-of-a-kind experiences that were featured during a live auction.

The Grand Raffle prize included a trip for four to Chicago with VIP Behind-the-Scenes experiences at the Lincoln Park Zoo and Shedd Aquarium.
