Summer Camp Available For Children In South Brevard

Activities Begin May 28

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard County Parks and Recreation’s South Area will offer Summer Day Camps at six locations for children entering first through sixth grade.

Camps will begin on Tuesday, May 28, and run through Friday, Aug. 9. Camp activities include sports, group activities, games, arts and crafts, daily specials, field trips and more.

The camps will be offered at:

• Viera Regional Community Center, 2300 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, 321-433-4891

• Wickham Park Main Pavilion, 3845 N Wickham Road, Melbourne, 321-255-4400

• Rodes Park Community Center, 3410 Flanagan Avenue, West Melbourne, 321-952-3215

• Ted Whitlock Community Center, 1951 Malabar Road NW, Palm Bay, 321-952-3231

• South Mainland Community Center, 3700 Allen Avenue, Micco, 772-663-8748

• South Beach Community Center, 501 Old Florida Trail, Melbourne Beach, 321-952-3210

Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fee is $60 per child for the week or $20 per day.

Before care (7 to 9 a.m.) and after care (4 to 6 p.m.) are available for an additional fee.

Additional weekly fees apply for field trips and camp specials.
