BCC Advances To District Tourney May 2

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Brevard Community College’s softball team ended its regular season on a positive note on Saturday sweeping Palm Beach State College 6-2 and 7-0 on the Palm Bay Campus.

BCC, which turned a triple play and two double plays, improved to 30-25 overall and 9-7 for third place in the Florida College System Activities Association Southern Conference.

Palm Beach finished at 5-43 and 2-14.

Shannen Marchu was the winning pitcher in the first game for BCC and Brooke Formby in the second game.

Next up for BCC is the NJCAA Division I Region 8A/FCSAA Atlantic District tournament May 2 to 5 in Pensacola.

The Titans will compete in the tournament for the ninth time in the last 10 seasons.
