UF Line Coach To Address Gator Gathering

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Gator Club will host its annual Gator Gathering next month in Melbourne.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. May 14 at the Melbourne Front Street Civic Center.
University of Florida football offensive line coach Tim Davis will be the featured speaker.
Coach Davis will be talking about the upcoming 2013 football season and will hold a question and answer session for Gator fans.
Special guests will include former Gator players Joe Cohen of Palm Bay from the 2006 National Championship team and Cal Dixon of Merritt Island, a former NFL player.
There also will be several Gator vendors on hand with unique items for sale, silent auctions and raffles.
A kids’ play zone will be set up for the children.
Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served throughout the evening, as well as wine and beer.
This is one of the club’s most popular events of the year and includes a scholarship award ceremony for this year’s recipients.
The event is open to the public.
Tickets are $15 for members, $20 non-members and $10 for children age 12 and under.
