Man Wounded By Father In Palm Bay

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Detectives and crime scene technicians are responding to the 200 block of Stendal Road NW in response to a shooting that occurred just before 7 p.m. this evening, according to Palm Bay Police spokesperson Yvonne Martinez.

BREAKING-NEWS-SCD-180-13A 27-year old white male was wounded and his 61-year old father is being detained for questioning.

The victim’s injuries do not appear to be life threatening. Palm Bay Fire-Rescue paramedics are treating the victim who will likely be transported to the hospital.

After the shooting, the victim fled to an address on Rheine Road where he was located and received medical care, according to Martinez.

The incident is currently under investigation but appears to be isolated to a domestic dispute between the two men.
