BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Space Coast Sports Promotions has a full slate of sports and teams from all over the USA coming into Brevard during the summer.
“We’re looking forward to another busy summer at Space Coast Sports,” said Rusty Buchanan. “Our usual basketball schedule has been supplemented by some other new events that we are excited about.”
USSSA Boys’ Basketball State Championships
The USSSA Boys’ Basketball Grade School State Championships will take place in Central and South Brevard June 7 – 9.
“We are expecting over 100 teams who will be coming to our area from across the state to participate in this tournament,” said Buchanan. “The Brevard Bulls will be the host organization for this event, which will be played in over 15 gyms around the county.”
AAU Boys’ Basketball National Championships
The AAU Boys’ 5th Grade National Basketball Championships will begin on July 14 and continuing through July 20. This event will feature more than 100 teams from as far as California, New England and Puerto Rico.
NEW EVENTS
• The National Softball Association has added two events to the Space Coast Sports Promotions summer lineup. The NSA Eastern Regional will be June 1-2, and the NSA B States will take place June 22-23.
• The Sunshine State Games Track and Field Championships will be held June 29 at Melbourne Central Catholic High School. There will be over 250 participants from all over the state of Florida.
