Both Liberty and Sunshine will join Carnival Sensation in homeporting at Canaveral.

“Port Canaveral has been a valuable partner with Carnival for more than 20 years and we’re pleased to expand our operations from the Space Coast with the deployment of the Carnival Liberty in 2014,” said Gerry Cahill, Carnival president and CEO.

As longtime partners, we are delighted to homeport these three Carnival ships and to provide exciting, diverse offerings to their port passengers.

“Carnival is the only cruise line to deploy three ships year-round from Central Florida and this is a testament to the convenient location, quality facilities and superior service provided by our partners at the Canaveral Port Authority,” he added.

In addition to the homeported vessels, Carnival Miracle, Carnival Pride, and Carnival Splendor also are scheduled for port-of-call visits in 2014.
