‘Operation Shred’ In Titusville Today At 10 a.m.

Sheriff Ivey TO PRESENT Identity Theft Seminar
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Operation Shred will be held tomorrow at the Titusville Public Library located at 2121 S. Hopkins Avenue, Titusville.
Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey, Titusville Police Chief John Lau and the North Seniors and Law Enforcement Together Council (SALT) will host Operation Shred.
The event will begin with an Identity Theft Seminar presented by Sheriff Wayne Ivey from 9 a.m. -10 a.m.
Shredding services will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 12 noon. The public is encouraged to participate in this public awareness and document shredding event at no cost to those who attend.
The purpose of this event is to help prevent identity theft and fraud related crimes by providing valuable crime prevention information and shredding personal information that can lead to victimization.
“The shredding services are being generously sponsored by Marc Kaplan of Progressive Document Destruction,” said Deputy Maria Fernez.

• Credit Cards
• ATM Receipts
• Bank Statements
• Voided/Canceled checks Credit Card Bills Medical Bills
• Employment Records
• Credit Reports
• Pay Stubs
• Old ID Cards
• Old Medical Records
• Old Medication Labels
• Old Income Tax Records
• Old Legal Documents
• Any Documents with personal information
• There will be a three 13-gallon bag or box maximum for those who have documents and materials for shredding.
