Summer Saturday Nights At Brevard Zoo Runs Through July 27

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Beat the summertime heat and come out to Summer Saturday Nights next Saturday, June 15 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Brevard Zoo is home to more than 650 animals representing more than 165 species from Florida, South America, Africa, Asia and Australia.

Thanks to Florida Hospital for Children and Radio Disney, the June 15 event offers an incredible $6 admission to guests. Last Zoo admission is at 8 p.m. Beat the lines by purchasing tickets online at BrevardZoo.org. Brevard Zoo members get in free.

Guests will enjoy live music from  Highway 1. At 7 p.m. there will be special animal encounters in front of Paws On. New this year, the children’s water play area, Paws On, will be open until 7:30 p.m. From 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., kids can participate in a Live Blue activity.

For an additional charge, guests also can kayak, ride the train, go paddle boating and feed the giraffe, weather permitting.

Treetop Trek will not be open during Summer Saturday Nights. Last admissions for Treetop Trek are 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. depending on the course.

EXTRAORDINARY ANIMAL EXPERIENCES

The Zoo features many extraordinary animal experiences including giraffe and lorikeet feedings, African kayak tours, paddle boats in the wetlands and a train ride. Brevard Zoo is a not-for-profit organization accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Brevard Zoo is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The last admission is at 4:15 p.m. Treetop Trek is open daily at 9 a.m. The last admission is 3:30 p.m. for the Treetop Challenge Course.

Twenty-five cents of every admission to Brevard Zoo supports the Zoo’s conservation projects through Quarters for Conservation. Group discounts and adventure packaging are available.

Brevard Zoo and Treetop Trek are a half-mile east of I-95 at exit 191 on Wickham Road in Melbourne – 25 minutes from the Melbourne International Airport and 45 minutes from the Orlando International Airport.
